Q: Is Leadbolt compliant with the GDPR?

A: Yes, Leadbolt is compliant with the GDPR, which comes into effect on 25 May 2018. We will also continue updating our procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.

Q: What data does Leadbolt collect via its advertising service?

A: Please refer to the Leadbolt Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.leadbolt.com/privacy for specific information about what types of data Leadbolt may collect from individuals, our management of personal information, and opt-out choices.

Q: Does Leadbolt use sub-processors to process end user data?

A: Yes, where we have sub-processors we have appropriate measures in place to ensure that our sub-processors abide by all relevant privacy and data protection laws.

Q: If I am an app developer, do I need to update my app to comply with GDPR?

A: App developers, as the controllers of data, must ensure that they have received unambiguous and informed consent from a user before sharing any of their data with Leadbolt or before calling any Leadbolt SDK functions for that user. This may require an app developer to update their app.
