This is not another article regurgitating the play-by-play of the 2016 Presidential election results, or attempting to explain how most of the predictions failed to accurately forecast the outcome. We don’t have time for that. There are more pressing concerns that need attention and activism, from Civil Rights, to Climate Change, Gun Control reform, Immigration policy, Women’s Rights, Protecting sacred Native American grounds near the North Dakota Pipeline, and so much more… it’s time to get to work.
America has spoken, and whether you’re firmly in the red camp or blue, a proud #nastywoman, millennial, or one who simply felt caught in the middle of a difficult choice, each of us must now decide our individual contribution toward fixing some major problems.
In true American form, this election proved that there’s opportunity for anything to happen, and underscores the growing importance of personal accountability. In the words of Hillary Clinton, “Fighting for what you believe in is worth it.” Fortunately, mobile app technology has made it easier than ever to get involved and stay connected to the causes you care about.
